The Story So Far


The Property This is an industrial estate totalling 80,000 sqft, immediately off the A102M Blackwall Tunnel Approach Road. The estate is on the boundary of the 2012 Olympic Zone, is in 10 buldings from 6,000 sqft to 12,000 sqft, all of which can be combined, constructed in the 1980's and until recently let to London Borough of Newham. This property was not tired, it was absolutely exhausted following years of neglect. The tenant vacated in autumn 2006, we agreed a dilapidations settlement, repaired and upgraded the buildings, improved security and relaunched the Estate as Stratford Hub.

It has succeeded in attracting trade counter operators such as BSS, in no less than 3 buildings, Cromwell Tool Hire, Rexel Senate, Brandon Hire and BOC Group. They are joined by local occupiers Jardine Motors and Telent, (formerly Marconi) and City related Shred-It. We had expected considerable demand from companies being relocated as a result of the Olympics (then known as Olympic refugees) but only 2, Jardine and BOC, came to us as a result of relocation.
